She was predeceased by: her significant other John Arthur Nederhouser; and her sister-in-law Linda Smith. She is survived by: her siblings, Tanya Smith (Ken Henley) of Holland, Ohio and David Lee Smith of Fremont, Indiana; her nephew Jason Smith; and her niece Melissa West (David).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to help with arrangements.
