He is survived by: his daughters, Natasha Rusu (Jonathan) and Nicole Gutenschwager (Christopher); his grandsons, John David Gutenschwager, Benjamin Gutenschwager and Roman Rusu; his sisters, Debbie Laginess, Barbara Laginess, Cheryl Lucas (Tom) and Lori Laginess; and his close friends, Mike Korczyk and Jaime Cothran.
