He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his father-in-law Dick Garthwaite; his sister-in-law Sue Bunker; his son Jake Hoogterp (Michelle); his grandsons, Wyatt and Cole; and his siblings, Joan Loveland, Ruth Ashley, Terry Foley (John), Angela Hoogterp (Bobbie Rosencrans), Sue Shank (Doug), Sara Yob (Mike), Mart Hoogterp (Barb), Ed Hoogterp (Millie) and Dan (Helena). He is also survived by his son, shooting baskets with his daughter, reading with his grandsons.
