Ruth Ann McCarney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann McCarney of Engadine, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on April 23, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Westgate and Cecil Westgate (Vollmer); her former husband Willard McCarney; and her sister Reverend June Westgate. She is survived by: her husband William; her children, Laura Cook (Robert) of St. Ignace and William McCarney of Claremont; and her brother Dean Westgate of Buffalo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required in accordance of the M. D. H. H. S.
Memorials may be directed to the family to assist with expenses and to be distributed to the various church charities Ruth was active in.
