He is survived by: his wife Velma; his children, Robin Chaffin (Melanie) of Engadine and Nancy Helgren (James) of Channing; and his grandchildren, Clay Roberts, Kyle Roberts (Krista), Dolan Chaffin, Casey Evitts (Hunter) and Shauna Chaffin. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
