It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Dayton Selby of Engadine, Michigan, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Selby and Hazel Selby (Chrisman); his wife Janice "Toots"; his siblings, Elizabeth Gage, Margaret Loehr, Dorothy Lesatz, Hester Dagenais, Hazel Allen, George, Wes and Art Selby; his son-in-law Chuck Melton; and his granddaughter Michelle Selby.
He is survived by: his children, Trudy Melton of Engadine, Dennis Selby of Vermontville, Michael Selby (Sue) of McMillan and Ernie Selby (Kim) of Grand Ledge; his grandchildren, Gloria Al (Hakim), Steven Melton (Christa), Katie Clark (John), Keri Carpenter (Erik), Sarah Kissee and Marty Owen; his great grandchildren, Derek, Laurel, Addie, Oliver, Killian, Jackson and Emmett; his sister Mable Snyder of Waveland, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Douglas Maxson (Deb) of Cedar Springs and Sandy Selby of St. Johns. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, and friends.
