She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Penley and Doris Penley (Carson); her husband John Sr.; and her son John Jr. (Sheila Porter). She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Harris (Devon), Jerry (Kristy Holliday), Alisa Trago, Carolyn Coomans (Louis) and Sharon Hawkins (Mark); and her siblings, Lynn Whitmire and Tommy Penley. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
