He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Newton and Annabelle Cole; and his sister Mary Ann Cole. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Bradfield Cole (Annette) and Marissa Cole; his brother Arthur Newton Cole II (Deborah); his nephew Arthur Newton Cole III (Nicole); and his nieces, Laura Elizabeth Cole, Leslie Martha Steele (Brian) and Tate Idie Whitney Stewart.
