David Arthur Taghon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Arthur Taghon of Empire, Michigan, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Arthur Taghon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Taghon and Reva Taghon (Wirt); his son Roy; and his sister-in-law Mary. He is survived by: his wife Diane Novak of Cedar; his children, Kathy Prahl (Charlie), LouAnn Wiebenga and Fred (Joshua Stone); his grandchildren, Jake (Jill), Christel (Shane), Katia and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Franny and Charlotte; and his siblings, Mike, Sharon Main (Fred), Patrick (Laurie), Rockie (Val), Jeanine Oleszczuk (Greg) and Charley (Diane). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Philip Neri Catholic Church (11411 S Lacore Rd, Empire, MI 49630). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
