He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Patterson and Mabel Lois Patterson (Vories); his wife Peggy Martin; his daughter Melanie Zegelien; and his brothers, Jim, Jack and Bill Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Rob Patterson (Julie) of Burtchville, Mitchell Patterson of Richmond Township and Sandra Fischer (Frank) of Chesterfield; his son-in-law Bill Zegelien; his grandchildren, Luke Zegelien (Renae), Zach Zegelien, Hannah Vitro (Mike), Kindal Farver, Kate Archibald (Brandon), Chad Patterson (Amber), Frances Zegelien, Ivy McClatchey and Autumn Fischer; his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Jazmyn, Alexis, Hunter, Chloe, Kori, Cullen, Ruby, Kaiden, Myia, Stetson, Kolter, Layla and Gennady; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Dolan (Martin) and Dick Patterson (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thumb Jackpot Beef Youth Program or the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary.
