He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred J. Cowhy and Margarite O. Cowhy (Mahar); his siblings, Mary Belesky (Harold), Melvin (Jean), Basil (Theresa) and John (Alfred Cowhy); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Cowhy and Thomas Hayes.
He is survived by: his brother Thomas; his sister-in-law Sylvia of Marysville; his sister Patricia Hayes of Ann Arbor; and his sister-in-law Janice Cowhy of Clinton. He is also survived by 27 nieces, nephews and friends.
