With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Roy Bigelow of Elwell, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Roy Bigelow to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bigelow and Iris Bigelow (Dean); his son Douglas; and his brothers, Bill and Gail.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Nelson; his brother Melvin; and his children, Chuck (Sherri) of Stevens Point, WI, Gaila Trowbridge of Henderson, NC, Gloria Knapp (Mike) of Higgins Lake and Kay Richards (Emil) of Alma. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren several great grandchildren and great great children as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gratiot County Commission on Aging or the Alma VFW Post 1454 (noted veteran relief fund).
