She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse T. Smith and Leota H. Smith; and her siblings, Bob Smith, Jean Elder and Larry Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Gardner of Elwell; her sons, Dennis Gardner (Susan), Gary Gardner (Pamela) and Bruce Gardner (Jane); her grandchildren, Daniel Gardner (Marisa), Caitlin Aviles (Ruben), Kyle Gardner (Tara) and Kala Sivertsen (Chris); and her siblings, Ann Pattee, Ruth Fisher and Paul Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, St. Louis or the American Heart Association.
