He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sheldon and Nina Sheldon (Mong); his wife Patsy Mae Sheldon (Lambert); his great grandchild Alivia Lake; his brothers, Howard, George (Lucille), Jim, Hank (Gene), Bill (Jo) and Chuck Sheldon (Liz); and his siblings-in-law, Eugene (Connie), Roger (Vergeline), Gary, Dennis, Richard, Bruce Lambert, Judy Saylor (Richard), Pam Struck (Larry) and Christine Upton (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Mark Sheldon (Sue) of Lyons, MI, Randy Sheldon of St. Johns, MI, Tim Sheldon (Karen) of Jacksonville, FL, Jim Sheldon of St. Johns, MI and Lori Phelps (Don) of Elsie, MI; his grandchildren, Steven Sheldon, Cory Sheldon, Josh Sheldon, Krystal Sheldon, Brandy Alcaraz (Travis Lake), Chelsea Armstrong (Mickey), Morgan Sheldon (D. J. Gilbert), Michael Sheldon, Kaci Miller (Jared), Angela Hill (Jordan) and Tyler Sheldon; his sister Alice Rick of Mt. Pleasant, MI; and his in-laws, Sandra Jones (Bill), Susan Lambert, Dana Lambert-Bottum, Denise Lambert, Gail Winsor (Deo), Sue Lambert and Rex Red. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
