He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Allen Mills; and his brother Jerry Mills. He is survived by: his mother Carole Anne Mills-Riojas (Baker); his wife Andrea Mills; his daughters, Becca Legeman (Branden), Katelyn Mills, Nicole Hagan (Jake) and Chelsea Shannon; his grandchildren, Averie, Emilia, Miyah, Jocelyne "Sugar", Noah, Lucas, Holden, Elias, La'Miah, Malena, Cali'Anna, Jayvien, Jeremiah, Elijah, Casey Jr., Brooklyn, Isaiah, Linnie and Lorenzo; his sisters, Melissa Bishop (Ken), Michele Robinson (James), Heather Casteel (Denny) and Mitzi Arnold (Bill); his mother-in-law Mary Baxter; and his in-laws, Steve Dyer (Amy), Jennifer Riojas and Brookie Riojas. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (232 E Oak St, Ovid, MI 48866). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
