James Edward Simpson Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Simpson Sr. of Elsie, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Simpson and Wiletta Simpson (Wilcox); and his brother Elden Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Simpson; his children, James (Edith Simpson, Jr.), Sherry Brown and Michael Simpson; and his grandchildren, Alesha Clapp, Rebekah Simpson, Kyle Clapp, Mark Simpson, Brandon Simpson, Kristin Palmer, Dominic Switzer and Gabe Switzer. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Carland United Methodist Church or Shiawassee County Humane Society.
