He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chubb and Lucille Chubb (Rings); and his daughter Angela Chubb. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Kellogg of Lansing and Daniel Chubb of Lansing; his siblings, John Chubb of Tennesee, Chuck Cerny of Elsie, Mary Pontack (Tom) of Elsie, Sandy Flanner Ovid (Pat) and Connie Nash (David) of Ionia; his child Pam Chubb of St. Johns; and his friend Dan Guyski of Owosso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
