He is survived by: his children, William Zimmerman Jr. (Christine) and Deborah May (Dale); and his stepchildren, Sandra Sauer-Stein (Donald), Mark Kowalewski and Pamela Smith (Daryl). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 step great great grandchild.
