With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Heeres of Ellsworth, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Cornelius "Casey" Harthorn; her husband Henry Heeres; and her siblings, Johanna Barlow and Edward Fielstra. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Fielstra (Van Til), Gordon Harthorn of Eastport, Donna DeYoung (Harold) of Ellsworth, Nelva Anderson (John) of Grand Rapids, Ken Harthorn (Nancy) of Martin, Kay Wynsma (Tom) of Ellsworth and Wayne Harthorn (Sherri) of Charlevoix; and her siblings, Bert Ahrens and Gerald Fielstra (Betty). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
