It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wieland (Ellsworth, Michigan), who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Wieland to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Wieland; his son Daniel Wieland; his brother Tom Wieland; and his children-in-law, Marvin Ruis and Barbara Wieland.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Ruis (Joe Beaudoin), Lindon Wieland and Suzanne Cliff; his daughter-in-law Joni Wieland (Griz Patenge); his grandchildren, Lori Frohock (Brian), Josh Wieland and Jamie Fischer (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Camden Frohock, Ella Frohock and Brooklyn Fischer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Front Porch Ministries or the Banks Township Historical Society.
