With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur James Ruis of Ellsworth, Michigan, who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ruis and Alice Ruis of Ellsworth; his sister Geneva DeYoung (Hans); his daughter Patricia Hawn; his grandson Collin Ruis; and his wife Maxine Ruth Somerville.
He is survived by: his sons, Randall Ruis (Cynthia) of Charlevoix and Donald Ruis (Danielle) of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Hilary Hawn, Amanda Skeel (Jeff), Aaron Hawn, Bradley Ruis and Natalie Ruis; his great grandchildren, Parker and Emily Skeel; his niece Judith Vollmer (Robert); and his nephew Dean DeYoung (Jennai).
