He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin McKenzie and Ethel McKenzie (Western); and his son Keith. He is survived by: his wife Doris Varney; his children, Kevin (Starla) of Elkton, Kurt of Elkton, Kent (Lori) of Pigeon and Kendra Jickling (Jim) of Marlette; his grandchildren, Katherine Valley (James), Caitlin Eigsti, Ryan McKenzie (Mary), Jessica Pereria (Matthew), Kristy Carriveau (Trevor), Jody Blaszczyk (Nick), Kayle Thepsourinthone (Tico), Kelsey Jickling (Dan Nicol) and Kyle Jickling; and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Isaiah, Nathaniel, Gideon, Aiden, Olivia, Freyja, Autumn, Caden, Khloe, Landon, Palmer, Savannah, Lucy, Wynnie and Archie Max.
