She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schwendener and Hazel Blatt; her stepfather John Blatt; her daughter Joanne Stumpf (Les); and her sister Eunice Denninger.
She is survived by: her children, Iola Eby of Elkton, Don Hewitt (Debbie) of Bad Axe, Beverly Hewitt of Moline, IL, Gwen Petres of Elkton and Beth Peck (David) of Milford, VA; her grandchildren, Chris (Wendy), Eric (Christine), Mike, Charnelle, Shane (Nikki), Michelle (Casey), Heather and Damian; and her great grandchildren, James, Jillian, Logan, Carson, Alexa, Katarina, Adrian, David Jacob, Elizabeth and Camila.
