She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Sherwood and Vera L. Sherwood Sr. (Parker) of Owendale, Michigan.; her husband Henry F. Smith; her daughters, Laura Smith and Lois Genis (John); her grandson Jason Smukala; her son-in-law Terry Bucholtz; and her brothers, James Sherwood Jr. and Ernest Sherwood.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Ferris (David) of Elkton, Linda Bucholtz of Bay Port, Robert Smith (Karen) of Kinde and Roy Smith (Julie) of South Lyon; her sister-in-law Donna Sherwood of Bad Axe; and also Heather. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
