It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil I. Gilbert of Elk Rapids, Michigan, born in Hudson, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwyn Gilbert and Bess Gilbert (Whittenbaugh). He is survived by: his wife Judy Lyons of Elk Rapids, MI; his daughter Courtney Gilbert; his granddaughter Emma Gilbert of Elk Rapids; his daughter Kristi Gilbert; his son-in-law Doug Bernardin of Ann Arbor, MI; his sister Lynne Mixer (Dan) of Elk Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Clark (Mark) of Romeo, MI and John Lyons of Brooklyn, NY.. He is also survived by cousins, a niece, a nephew, and a grandnephew.
