She is survived by: her husband James Janisse (Jim); her sons, Philip Janisse, James Janisse (Rachel) of Grandville, Patrick Janisse (Kacie) of Rapid River and Byron Janisse of Grand Rapids; her parents, Phillip Pfeil (Carol) and Janice Jones (Nelson Evers); her sister Bristolyn Lamar; her stepsiblings, Kirk Beach (Rose) and Kristina Carlson; and her granddaughters, Vera and Cora. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that individuals consider donating to the American Brain Tumor Association.
