He is survived by: his wife Lucille Gaskell (Tomaszewski); his daughters, Kathleen Blankenship (Carl) of Pennsylvania and Leanne Markell of Troy; his sister Suzanne Todd (Richard) of Dearborn Heights; and his grandchildren, Grant Blankenship and Sarah Alioa.
