She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Ottgen and Eunice Ottgen (Heller); her husband Harold Sanford; her daughter Stephanie Dean; her granddaughter Stephanie Carpenter; and her siblings, Helen Hughey, Patricia Homan, Dolph Ottgen, Steve Ottgen, Don Ottgen and Ralph Ottgen.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Copeland (Chris), Kelly Stachnik (Terry), Katherine Sanford (Robert Beuthin), Tammie Barnhart (Craig) and Christopher Sanford (Mariana); her son-in-law Tony Dean; her brother Howard Ottgen (Queen); and her sister-in-law Susie Ottgen. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
