He is survived by: his friend Phi Delta Theta; his brothers, Jeff Karmol, Geoff Schumer, Rick Stoecklin and Doug Bentz; his children, Michael Lewis of Granger, Kristina Sweet (Darrin) of Granger, Thomas'Brooks' Long (Laila) of Douglasville and Aaron Long (Lizzie) of Summerfield, Florida; his grandchildren, Zachary Joseph Sweet, Alexander Thomas Sweet of Granger, Connor Reese and Dean Conan Long of Douglasville, Georgia; and his siblings, Jeffery Long (Lory) of Long Island and Jane Long of Greensboro.
