She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred E. Parkhurst and Lillian Parkhurst (Gustafson); her husband Julius DeMaegd; her daughter Julie DeMaegd; and her sister Shirly Kubiak.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa "Missy" Reber (Timm) of Edwardsburg; her grandchildren, Michelle Fredenburg, Kyle Janowiak (Nikki), Crystal Denman (Scott) and Shanna Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Julius, Jaden Foley, Amara, Odysseus Janowiak, Talon Armstrong and Bentley Denman; and her close friend Deb Moore.
