He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Bartels, Sr. and Eleanor Foltz; his spouse June Freeze; his children, Terrie Lynn Whipple of Elkhart and Eric Lee Bartels of Grandville, MI.; his siblings, Ralph Bartels, Jr. and Jenny Kay Traxler; his stepmother Thelma Rayl; his sister Mary Ellen (Dennis Kemp); his siblings-in-law, Rich Traxler and Virginia; and his daughter-in-law Marcy. He was also cherished by one grandchild, 2 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
