He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hughes and Olive "Rusty" Hughes; his sister Diane Larson; and his nephew Daniel Wells. He is survived by: his close friend Sheila Hensley; his children, Rick Myers (Marilyn) and Tiffany Joiner (Lamonte II); his stepsons, John Hensley and Nathan Hensley; his grandchildren, Alexis Myers, Andrew Myers, Mister Joiner, Lamonte Joiner III and Matthew Hensley; and his siblings, Dawn Wells and Frank "Buddy" Hughes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church (68961 Lake Street).
