It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther May Mead of Edwardsburg, Michigan, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Eaglebarger and Lillian Eaglebarger; her husband Carroll Lee Mead, Sr.; her children, James Paul Mead and Jeanne Davis; and her grandson Brandon Mead.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Baltosser (David) of Warsaw, Joanne Mead of Edwardsburg, Carroll Mead, Jr. of Niles, Jerrel Mead of North Liberty, Indiana and Floyd Williams (Doreen) of Decatur; and her grandchildren, Gene Seager (Melissa) of Lawton, Carroll Mead III of Niles, Bobbie VanZile (Jim) of Schoolcraft, Amy Sigler (Weston) of Columbia City, Travis Baltosser (Barbara Ellen) of Corpus Christi, Dustin Mead (Julie) of Granger, Morgan Mead of South Bend, Megan Fuller (Matt) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Alex Williams of Decatur and Ryan Williams (Amber) of Warsaw, Indiana. She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
