She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Haake and Helen Haake (Wilson); her son Fred Mitchell I; her brother Roy Haake; and her granddaughters, Amanda Luanna Mitchell and Ashley Nicole Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Doranne Dykeman of Edwardsburg, MI, Robin Thayer of Buchanan, MI, Wendy Mitchell of Edwardsburg, MI and Helen Kenega (Mike) of Elkhart, IN; her husband Fred Mitchell, Jr.; her sons, Christopher Mitchell (Beth) of Mishawaka, IN and James Mitchell of Elkhart, IN; and her sister Patricia McTernan of Ocean Grove, NJ.. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
