It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Proctor of Edwardsburg, Michigan, born in Mancelona, Michigan, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Near and Irma Near (Rapson); and her daughter Mary Proctor. She is survived by: her husband Earl Proctor of Edwardsburg; her children, Lori Proctor of Cassopolis, Michael Proctor (Elaine) of Niles, William Proctor (Lori) of Pontiac and Ronald Proctor (Windy) of Cassopolis; her siblings, Helen Underwood of Mancelona and Glen Near of Saginaw; and her stepsister Bernice Warner of Virginia. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Donna be made to Diamond Cove Missionary Church, 22820 Diamond Cove Street, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031.
