With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Morningstar of Edwardsburg, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lukas and Bridget Lukas; her husband Clyde Morningstar of South Bend; and her brothers, Frank and Jerry.

She is survived by: her sister Gertrude Berndt of South Bend; and her children, Sue Morningstar of Lovelock, NV, Rex Morningstar of Central Lake, MI, Lee Morningstar (Carol) of Niles, MI, Kay Eaton (Charles) of Edwardsburg, MI and Tom Morningstar (Robin) of Edwardsburg, MI. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Centrica Care Navigators (Hospice of Southwest Michigan), 7100 Stadium Dr., Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
