It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Emerson Harkness of Edmore, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Harkness and Ellen Harkness; his father-in-law Marshall (Alice Belcher); and his sisters, Wynetta Edgerly (Ronald) and Betty Sanderson (Keith).

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Harkness; his sons, Trever Harkness (Tami) and Tyler Harkness (Carrie); his grandchildren, Keegen Harkness (Kylie), Gage Harkness, Keeleigh Harkness and Taylor Harkness; and his siblings, Mary Brown (Jim), Audrey Jorgensen (John) and Ed Harkness (Kimberly).
