Reva Slyter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2020, at the age of 92, Reva Slyter (Edmore, Michigan), born in Stanwood, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Lynn Slyter; and her siblings, Elden Armstrong and Francis Shipley. She is survived by: her children, Larry Slyter, Connie Loper, Carrol Lamb, Lee Slyter (Mary) and Dawnn Barnes (Josh); her grandchildren, Jeni, Dale and Alan; and her siblings, Bernard Armstrong, David Armstrong (Karen), Audrey Vining and Maxine Mowan. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery, Stanwood at 11:00 A. M. Visitation for Reva will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 from 4 to 8 P. M. at Maier Family Funeral Home, due to the current Coronavirus restrictions keeping distancing in mind.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Reva's memory to Grace Fellowship Baptist Church or Hospice of Michigan Care and arrangements entrusted to the Maier Family Funeral Home.
