She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Phenix and Erma Phenix (Lowery); her sons, Bruce and Randy Walter; and her siblings, Lester, Kenneth Phenix, Alice Brown, Irene Bunting, Lena Abendroth and Colleen Krabill.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Miller (David) of Six Lakes and Dale Walter (Linda) of Edmore; and her siblings, Wendell Phenix of Mt. Pleasant, Orelie Simon of Remus and Enid Schafer of Weidman.
