He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hansen and Cynthia Hansen; his sons, Craig Hansen and Rick Hansen; and his sisters, Frances Augustine and Vergeline Red.

He is survived by: his wife Harriett Sigsby; his children, Randy Hansen (Kim) of Vestaburg, Ralynn Hansen of Greenville, Peggy Holland (Gary) of Stanton and Doug Hansen (Beth) of Six Lakes; his grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson (Marc), Tim Holland (Shanna), Cyndi Grimm (Jeremy), Brian Hansen, Heather Dempsey (Matt), Greg Hansen (Kimberly), Amber Bratcher (James) and Rebecca Hansen; and his siblings, Leona Moll of Belding, Russell Hansen of McBride, Laverne Hansen (Joyce) of Edmore, Harvey Hansen (Darlene) of Alma, Norman Hansen (Sandy) of McBride, David Hansen of Edmore and Allen Hansen (Roxanne) of Sheridan.
