She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Wood (Clousson) and Charles Wood; her great grandchild Brantley James Harkness; and her siblings, David Wood, Charlene Wood, Janet Keeler and Kathleen Wood.

She is survived by: her sons, James Harkness (Brigida), Don Harkness of Blanchard, Jon Harkness of Edmore and Charles Harkness of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

She coached basketball, donated blood, helped with the literacy program, and volunteered for the Potato Festival.
