He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. Reed and Almeda Reed (Peska); his siblings, Lester Reed, Cecil Reed, Madolyn Moon, Esther MacLaren and Fladella; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Lela McConkie (Hansen); and his brothers, Robert McConkie (Karan) and Albert McConkie.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Reed (McConkie); his daughters, Kelly Reed Lucas (Joseph) and Tracey L. Reed; his siblings, John Reed and Loretta Hindenlaing; and also, Emma Jean McConkie (Jean), Joan Vaughn (Jack), Sharon Hey, Judy Henderson (Elton), Brenda Shuler (Dan) and James McConkie (Dawn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many life-long friends.
