He is survived by: his children, April Kotenko of Edmore, Sarah Peterson of Vestaburg and David Peterson (Ricca) of Edmore; his siblings, Ron Kotenko (Susan), Grace Salm (Richard), Joyce Seymour (Wayne) and Susie Carelli; his nephews, Michael Kotenko (Kristin) and Jonathan Kotenko (Karli); his great-nieces, Ella Kotenko and Melody Kotenko; and his great-nephew Jasper Kotenko.
