It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Deurloo (Edmore, Michigan), born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin H. Swanson and Kathleen H. Durnin Swanson; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Deurloo; her sister Jean Swanson Gurd; her brother-in-law Norman Carey; and her nephew Joseph Cebelak.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Thomas W. Deurloo; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Bret O'Brien; her grandchildren, Carrie Powell (Gabriel), Jason O'Brien (Holly), Brendan O'Brien and Callie Tymes (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Ethan Powell and Atticus O'Brien; her sister Norma Carey; and her nieces, Laura Roethler (Mike) and Lisa Cebelak.
