She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Smith-Sanders and Joe Sanders; and her nephew Arnold Lee Clark, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Gunzella, Teressa, Rhonda, Veronica and Reginald; her daughter Melodie Abram; her nieces, Tameco Betts and Chimere Sanders; her daughter Dr. Monica Wiggins; her granddaughters, Camery Abram, Alaris Wiggins, Chloe'Abram and Auriell Wiggins; her niece Sharika Woodmore; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sharika Sanders, Damiah Woodmore, Dametra Woodmore, Chimere Clark, Darrell Betts, Jr., Jashon Green, Arnold Lee Clark, III and Damian Woodmore, Jr.; and also, Ca'Leea Sanders, Serenity Demand and David Demand, Jr..
