She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Suarez; and her sibling Remijio Salazar, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Carlos Salazar (Sanrda Lujano), Ruben D. Salazar and Joseph Salazar (Jennifer Vanbelkum); her grandchildren, Desiree, Vanessa, Alexandria, Maria Irene, Carlos, Jr. and Alani; her great grandchild Damoni; and her siblings, John Salazar (Casey), Katherine Avant (Ira), Javier Salazar (Michele), David Salazar and Olga Salazar. She is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
