She was predeceased by: her father Arthur L. Smith; and her brother Alphonso Smith. She is survived by: her children, Arthur Smith and La'Shay Gross; her mother Louella Smith; and her grandchildren, Amari Smith, Christian Gibson, K'Myah Gilmore and Milani Gilmore.
