She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Franz and Alice Franz (Truhn); her husband George Kenneth Skibbe; her son Scott Kenneth Skibbe; and her siblings, Bernice Wicker, Eldon Franz, Doris Culbertson and Ron Franz.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Nicole Poole (Daniel Poole); her grandchildren, Parker Kenneth Poole and Chase Harris Poole; and her siblings, Lois Akright and Beverly Orvis.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church (4071 Naomi Rd, Sodus, MI 49126). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Caring Circle Hospice, Chapel Hill United Methodist Church Arts & Crafts Show, or Friends for Berrien Springs Korn Dog Stand.
