He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Peterson and Effie Peterson (Borton); his wife Lillian Peterson (Klont); and his brothers, Harold and Jay Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Candace Hampton (Steve); his grandchildren, Zachariah Smith (Shelly), Charity Smith, Staci Inks (Brandon), Mathew Hampton and Kristin Hart (John); and his sister Loraine McCune (Howard).
