She is survived by: her son Freddy Adkins; her grandchildren, DeDee Parsons, Miracle Adkins and Jade Adkins; her great grandchild Sophia Adkins; and her brothers, George Newsome (Shelby), Oliver Newsome (Rita) and Roger Newsome.
